Statement about Academic Dishonesty:
Academic honesty is expected in this class. Cheating will NOT be tolerated. Consequences may include: reduction in grade on assignment, repeat assignment, no grade/loss of credit on assignment or others as deemed appropriate.

Classroom Procedures:
- Beginning of School Day
- Students will place book bags, lunch boxes and all other personal items (including cell phones) in their 4th period cubbies before entering homeroom.
- Students will remain SILENT during announcements.
- Students will remain in the classroom, unless given permission to exit.
- Entering the classroom
- Students will wait in line outside of the class until invited inside.
- Students will enter quietly and take the most direct route to their assigned seat.
- Students should arrive with all class materials and will not be allowed to return to cubbies after entering class.
- Students should sharpen pencils BEFORE class begins. Students should not get out of their seat to sharpen pencils before raising their hands and asking. The teacher may provide a replacement to avoid class distribution further and/or allow the student to sharpen their pencil.
- Exiting the classroom
- Students may not exit the room without permission.
- Students are responsible for cleaning up their area and pushing in their chair before leaving class. Class will not be dismissed until the room is in order.
- Talking in class
- Students will raise their hands and wait for permission to speak.
- When working in groups or with partners, students will keep the volume at a respectful level – inside voices, please!
- Restroom Usage
- There will be class restroom breaks at designated times throughout the day. Students will not be allowed to use the restroom during direct instruction but may be permitted during small group work or individual practice. Emergencies will be taken into consideration.
- Cell phone use is NOT allowed in class or in the restroom.
- Cubbies
- Student cubbies are located in 4th block. Students will be given assigned visit times to their cubby each day. These are the ONLY cubby visit times and students should plan accordingly.
- Students will place book bags, lunch boxes and all other personal items in their 4th period cubbies. Cell phones should be OFF and in cubbies throughout the day.
- Off Limit Areas
- My desk, cabinets, closets and the sink are off limits unless given permission otherwise.
- Lunch/Hall Transitions
- Students are expected to move in a quiet line.
- Consequences may be given to individuals or a whole class if the noise level becomes disruptive to classes still in session.
- End of School Day
- Students will remain SILENT during announcements.
- Students will remain in the classroom, unless given permission to exit.
- Students are responsible for cleaning up their area and pushing in their chair before leaving class. Class will not be dismissed until the room is in order.
